The Kenneth Lockett Foundation is a social impact nonprofit based in Atlanta, focused on developing the next generation of principled civic leaders in the Deep South. We launched in 2025 in memory of Kenneth Henry Lockett III, a rising young leader in Georgia. Our flagship program is the Truth & Justice Fellowship, a full-time, 10-week summer program for college juniors and seniors pursuing careers in public-interest law, journalism, or government.

The 2026 Truth & Justice Impact Reception is our inaugural fundraiser for the Truth & Justice Fellowship program. Reaching our campaign goal of $35,000 will enable us to expand support from one Fellow to multiple Fellows in summer 2027. At the Impact Reception, you’ll hear remarks from our inaugural Fellow, Tinghan Wang; our partners at the Southern Center for Human Rights; campaign chair Sami Tabbaa; and leaders from The Kenneth Lockett Foundation.
